ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION The name of this oranization will be called the LMD (Latinos Making a Diference) Club
ARTICLE 2. PURPOSE The purpose of this oranization is to promote unity among all students as well as Latino cultural awareness in a positive way by helping students to achieve: academic success, particpantion in extra curricular activities, and learing the value of helping others through community service.
We will accomplish this through the following: 1.) Interactive group meetings 2.) Educatiomal field trips 3.) Motivational guest speakers Meetings will be held: Atleast once a month

ARTICLES 2, MEMBERSHIP 1. Must be a student of the Hugoton High School 2. Members shall help in at least 1 fundraising activity per semester. 3. Members shall participate in monthly meetings per school year. 4. Members will conduct themselves in a mannar representing 5. Members shall strive to improve academic sucess through maintaining and increasing GPA
ARTICLE 3, OFFICE AND ELECTION Officers shall be elected by the majority vote of the members
Officers must have at least 2.0 GPA
Duties of Officers are as follows:
Officers shall represent club by attending at least 6 club meetings and 6 officers meetings, assist in planning and goal setting, and set example for other club members in involving, conduct, encouragement, leadrship, and in academics. Officers will uphold said duties as defined.
President: Direct meetings, set goals, and organize activities and function to accomplish these goals
Vice-President: assume the role of the president in his/her absense; assist in setting goals and organizing activites and function to carry out these goals.
Secretary: Take a minute at all meetings of the organization, keep on file, and provide required copies to all members and sponsers as needed. He/she may also assist historian and shall maintain all records of the organization.
Treasure: Collect monies, issues receipt, and record all dues collected throughout the year as well as all monetary transactions for the club.
Historian: Take and collect pictures of all club events; make a photo album with pictures to have as memories of the club members and events.
Journalist: Work closely with Secretary and Historian to present, promote, and publicize all activities of the LMD Club organization. Additional jobs may include writing news for the local paper and creating posters/flyers for events.
ARTICLE 4, Financial Activities: Fundraising activities will include candy/food sale, other sale item, and car washes. Funds will be used for clubs function and field trips and/or other club expenses.
